Wang Rui stated that the collaboration between Zhejiang Conservatory of Music and Goldsmiths, University of London, is a vivid practice of the cooperative concept between China and the UK. The cooperation between the two schools began with the musical theatre program, but the scope of collaboration goes far beyond this. In the future, it can expand to more diverse fields of study, continuously deepening both the depth and breadth of cooperation. We look forward to both sides using pragmatic exchanges and cooperation as a link to create a model of Sino-British art education collaboration.

David Oswell recalled his visit to Zhejiang Conservatory of Music last December. He admitted that the beautiful campus environment, proactive and open educational philosophy, and rich and diverse international academic exchange atmosphere at ZCM left him with an extremely deep impression. He stated that Goldsmiths, University of London, highly values the opportunity to cooperate with ZCM and looks forward to both sides working hand in hand to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

The two sides conducted friendly and fruitful exchanges on topics such as deepening inter-school cooperation and innovating talent training models. At the meeting, both parties clarified that they will accelerate the signing of the cooperation memorandum of understanding and conducted a systematic discussion on the feasibility of the '1+1+1' joint training model. In addition to in-depth cooperation in the musical theatre major, the exchanges also covered multiple professional fields including music engineering, music performance, and arts management, and initially exchanged opinions on curriculum co-construction, teacher and student exchanges, and resource sharing. Both sides expressed unanimous agreement that this visit would serve as a new opportunity to continuously strengthen communication and exchange, and jointly promote deeper and more practical cooperation between the two schools.

At the end of the meeting, participants exchanged New Year greetings and jointly looked forward to using the soon-to-be-signed cooperation memorandum as a new starting point, sparking cooperation in more professional fields and jointly writing a new chapter in China-UK art education exchanges.
