On the afternoon of November 12, as one of the core events of the Fourth China–CEEC Music and Dance Festival, the signing ceremony for the exchange agreement between Zhejiang Conservatory of Music and the Hungarian Dance University was held. Ms. Magdolna Szalay, Vice President of the Hungarian Dance University, and Mr. Dong Dejun, Vice President of Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, attended the ceremony. Representatives from the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, the School of Dance, and relevant departments of the Hungarian Dance University also participated.

During the discussion and exchange, Dong Dejun, on behalf of the college, extended a sincere welcome to Magdolna Sallát and her accompanying delegation, and briefly introduced the college's educational situation. He pointed out that, as a modern art university, Zhejiang Conservatory of Music fully leverages the advantages of multidisciplinary integration, with music, dance, drama, and other art disciplines nurturing each other, creating a rich, diverse, and inclusive academic and creative atmosphere, which also opens up broad space for the school to carry out international cooperation. He looked forward to taking this signing as an opportunity, starting with teacher visits and student exchanges, gradually expanding to joint creation, co-performances, and collaborative research, to jointly open a new chapter in the exchange and cooperation between the two schools and continuously promote the common development and progress of arts education in China and abroad.
Magdolna Sallát expressed her heartfelt thanks for the enthusiastic reception and meticulous arrangements by Zhejiang Conservatory of Music. She introduced the unique position and artistic mission of the Hungarian Dance University and expressed her great attention to and expectation for this cooperation. “Taking the opportunity of the China-Central and Eastern Europe Music and Dance Season to come to China, we were able to experience the professionalism, openness, and friendly exchange atmosphere of Zhejiang Conservatory’s teachers and students up close. We are also pleased to see that the two schools have a high degree of similarity and compatibility in professional fields such as ballet and modern dance, which lays a solid foundation for deeper cooperation in the future. We look forward to advancing specific cooperative projects as soon as possible, and I also believe that our cooperation will have a positive and far-reaching impact on the development of the dance field,” said Magdolna Sallát.

Dong Dejun and Magdalena Salat, on behalf of their respective schools, jointly signed a cooperation agreement covering multiple aspects such as teacher and student exchanges, mutual recognition of credits, joint performances, and academic seminars, providing a solid institutional guarantee for future cooperation between the two schools.

This signing is another significant achievement of the college in deepening its international education approach and cooperating with top art institutions worldwide. It is also a practical measure for China and Hungary to align development strategies and deepen friendship in the field of art education. This not only injects lasting and profound artistic momentum into cultural exchanges between China and Central and Eastern Europe, but will also contribute more "Chinese characteristics" to the prosperous development of global performing arts.
