In 2024, the She Ethnic Music Culture Research Center was established at Zhejiang Conservatory of Music. To promote the in-depth integration of ethnic culture and local resources, the school has closely collaborated with Jingning She Autonomous County to jointly build the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music - Jingning She Autonomous County Ethnic Artistic Practice Base, establishing a "academic research + social practice" dual-wheel-driven school and local collaborative model, ensuring that intangible music culture continues to thrive through educational inheritance and practical innovation.
President Marguerite Deschamps highly affirmed the practical achievements of Zhejiang Conservatory of Music in the field of intangible cultural heritage music inheritance, stating that it is highly consistent with the development direction of the International Institute of World Music in Marseille, and the potential for cooperation between the two sides is significant. She hopes that in the future, the two sides will deepen practical cooperation in the protection and innovation of intangible cultural heritage music.

The teachers and students from the Department of Traditional Chinese Music, passionately played the yangqin ensemble "Mountain People", achieving a modern transformation of ethnic music elements through contemporary artistic creation. The national-level intangible cultural heritage representative inheritors demonstrated the She ethnic group's weaving technique of colorful ribbons on the spot and invited Chinese and foreign guests to participate in the "Presenting Colorful Ribbons" ceremony together, symbolizing the cultural exchange and friendship between China and France. The original dance "Mountain People's Girls", the new She ethnic song "Little She Leaf, Great China", and the electronic music work "Record of the She Ethnic Sound" presented the understanding and emotional resonance of the new generation towards She ethnic culture in diverse and innovative forms, winning high praise from all the guests present.
