The Second‘Insight of China’- Master Workshops from Artists of B&R Countries opened on 07 May 2018, and closed on 11 May 2018 in Zhejiang Conservatory of Music (ZJCM).

 Eight music or dance artists - Farouk Elsherif and Mohamed Arafa from Egypt, Ahmad Al-Husseini and Maisara Salam Abbas Arab from Iraq, Violetta Al-Yousef and Haitham Sukkariyeh from Jordan, Faiza Talbaoui from Morocco and Fakher Hakima from Tunisia - participated in this year's workshops. They enjoyed a variety of musical and dance activities including seminars, lectures, workshops, class observation, and concerts during their stay here, and then presented a performance with ZJCM students on 11 May.

  

   Organized by ZJCM,‘Insight of China' - Master Workshops from Artists of B&R Countries is hosted by the Bureau for External Cultural Relations of Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China and Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture. It has been a brand for cultural cooperation between China and countries along the Belt and Road since 2009, and Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China started to hold the Workshop from 2017. The Workshop is scheduled to be held for 5 years, and Zhejiang Conservatory of Music has been the organizor since last year.
