At the invitation of the University of Arts in Belgrade and University of Goce Delchev - Shtip, ZJCM President Wang Rui visited Serbia and North Macedonia from 17 to 22 November 2019. 

At University of Arts in Belgrade, Wang Rui met with Ljiljana Nestorovska, Dean of the School of Music, and observed classes of opera, piano and harp. Wang Rui also visited four ZJCM exchange students who were studying there. 

Then Wang Rui participated in the Second China-CEEC Music Academies Rector Forum in Skopje, North Macedonia from 19 to 21 November. President of North Macedonia Stevo Pendarovski cordially received Wang Rui and representatives from other music academies attending the Forum.

 The opening ceremony of the Second China-CEEC Music Academies Rector Forum was hosted by Professor Antonijo Kitanovski, Dean of the Music Academy of University of Goce Delchev - Shtip, on the morning of 20 November. As the Chair of China-CEEC Music Academies Union, Wang Rui reviewed progresses made by the Union in past two years and briefed the 2019 China-CEEC Music & Dance Festival held in ZJCM in October 2019. The Forum discussed cooperation projects in following two years, and arranged a tour to University of Goce Delchev - Shtip for all the representatives.

During his visit to the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of North Macedonia on 22 November, Wang Rui talked with Ambassador Zhang Zuo about the Forum and cultural exchanges between ZJCM and North Macedonian artists.
