ZJCM provides abundant advanced facilities and completed infrastructure for students. Its main library covers an area of 12,000 square meters, has spaces for instruction, performance, research and self-study. It includes a music scores archive, a periodicals reading area, Information Commons, group study rooms, lecture halls, a school history museum and a music museum. Students have access to 12,000 volumes of sounds and recordings (CDs, VCDs, DVDs, LPs, cassettes), scores, course related materials and video recordings, as well as major music journals and electronic databases.
The faculty and students have the access to superb facilities available throughout the conservatory. Altogether 842 practice rooms are equipped with grand or upright pianos, including 56 Steinway&Sons, 22 Bösendorfers, 142 Bostons and Yamahas.
